Arada hosts event for Aljada residents to help pack 1,000 aid parcels for Gaza

Arada has teamed up with The Big Heart Foundation, Sharjah Charity Association and the Sharjah Volunteering Center to host a volunteering event for families in Gaza at the Aljada community.
The event saw residents from Aljada and Arada employees together pack hundreds of aid parcels, containing food, medical supplies and winter clothing to Palestinians affected by the war in the Gaza Strip, as part of the UAE’s wider ‘’Tarahum – Compassion for Gaza” campaign.
The volunteers have now packed the first batch of 500 air parcels containing a variety of essential food items. The second batch sorting event will take place soon and will contain medical supplies and winter clothing items.
The volunteering initiative follows Arada’s AED600,000 donation to the Tarahum campaign, again in partnership with The Big Heart Foundation, a substantial share of which was raised via staff contributions.
