Arada employees take part in Clean UAE 2024 campaign to combat effects of pollution

Arada employees took part in a major eco-friendly campaign to raise awareness of local pollution and to engage in hands-on activities to remove litter from locations around the UAE.
Clean UAE is an annual clean-up drive helps keep citizens and residents stay aware of environmental pollution and inspires them to behave proactively. This year’s effort began in Ajman and is ongoing from Emirate to Emirate.
Aradeans and their family members were among the thousands of volunteers who made a clean sweep of four locations in the Al Ruwayyah desert district of Dubai, as part of the Clean UAE 2024 campaign in cooperation with the Dubai Municipality.
Equipped with cotton gloves and biodegradable garbage bags, participants included families and students.
In total, nearly 6,000kg of waste was collected from a 10km area, while recyclable material derived from the collected waste was sent to local recycling factories.
The 23rd cycle of the Clean UAE campaign has been organised by Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) under the patronage of the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment with the long-term theme, ‘Together for a Better Environment’.
Arada regularly takes part in environmentally friendly activities that promote health and sustainability in its communities and beyond, with employees volunteering for multiple campaigns and endeavours throughout the year.
