The Dubai Harbour Street and Park courses were designed to meet World Skate standards, which will allow the best skaters in the world to achieve their personal best. The skateparks offer many unique skate elements that are fair and equal for all styles and genders.
The Street courses offer’s a 4 flat 4 stair set with 2 large Hubba ledges, a round handrail and big square gap rail with a large drop off. This area is sometime referred to as the big section where the best tricks usually happen. There is also an additional 5 rails, with a variety of round and square, 4 ledges with different heights and lengths. These options will allow for the skateboarders to show off their different styles of skateboarding. In the center of the street course there is a large A-frame gap to ledge that can be skated both directions, as well as other bank kicker and euro gaps for flip tricks. Each end of the course has a quarter pipe and layback bank to help maintain flow and allow for creative lip tricks during the flow run.
The Park course has a large round deep-end with tile and swimming pool coping. There is a jump box that can be used for big fly over tricks and 2 rails over it for technical rail tricks. The bowl offers many pockets with different heights to create speed and lip slides. There’s even one that’s over-vert. The speed lines set you up for the large mellow hip and the traditional vert wall that also has tile and swimming pool coping. These features are where the big air tricks will go down, which is always a crowd pleaser. In the center of the bowl, there is a large iconic volcano that can be skated on all sides.
